Jordan Cuby, MPH, BS
Clinical Research Coordinator
Jordan Cuby recently joined our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Jordan is a native of Louisville, KY with over 10 years of experience in global health and qualitative research. He served as a case manager for the New York City office of Human Resource Administration, where he provided harm reduction education and social service linkages for individuals experiencing episodic homelessness and substance abuse. In 2017, Jordan transitioned into a global career where he taught English as a Second language and Health Education for a total of 3 years, 1 year in Bangkok, Thailand and the last 2 years in Bogota, Colombia. He is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C, where he earned his BS in Psychology, and a graduate of the City University of New York, Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, where he earned his MPH, focusing on Community health education and Social science. Previously, he has contributed to various intervention and resource programs during his career as Certified Health Education Specialist, tackling issues in sociomedical anthropology, health messaging, and community based participatory research. It goes without saying that some of his favorite past times are being amongst the people. He enjoys cooking, traveling, being outdoors, and enjoying life with others. Jordan will primarily be working on a randomized controlled trial of an intervention to promote tobacco cessation among people experiencing homelessness and engaged in care at the Tom Waddell Urban Health Clinic. And in true COVID style, we are conducting study procedures outdoors at the Civic Center Plaza.
