Jennifer Thomas

Division Manager

Jennifer Thomas has served as the manager of the UCSF Division of General Internal Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center since the fall of 2011. She has worked in the UCSF Department of Medicine at ZSFG for 25 years, serving as manager of various research and clinical programs including the Gastroenterology Health Outcomes, Policy & Economics (GI HOPE) research program (2005-2011) and the HIV Assessment & Prevention Service (1995-2005). She also was the coordinator of the Epidemiology & Prevention Interventions (EPI) Center research program (1995-2001), and data manager for the National Clinicians Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Hotline (1997-2001). Jennifer joined the UCSF Committee on Family Services (formerly called the UCSF Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Child Care) in 2008, and served as co-Chair of the committee from 2015-2017. Jennifer attended UC Santa Cruz (Biology) as an undergraduate, and UC Berkeley School of Public Health (Epidemiology/Biostatistics) for graduate school.
