Hannah Begna, MS
Research Data Analyst
Hannah has joined our team as a Research Data Analyst. She is originally from Toronto, Canada, and moved to San Francisco to pursue her Master’s in Global Health Sciences at UCSF. Originally obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in the Health Sciences, she became invested in public health and research through her role on the Communicable Disease Control team in Vancouver, British Columbia. Within Vancouver’s public health department, she was responsible for infectious disease surveillance and program coordination. Her previous research projects include investigating epidemiological trends of renal cell carcinoma and prostate cancer and the intersection of HIV, cardiovascular health, and cognitive function. Hannah is passionate about addressing health disparities for vulnerable populations while recognizing the structural determinants of health.
