As an experienced community organizer, Brianna has witnessed health inequities firsthand while navigating the healthcare system for her family and community. For her master’s thesis focused on integrating community organizing and ethnic studies frameworks into public health, using tobacco and San Francisco as a case study to explore issues of racial capitalism and public health interventions. She is dedicated to creating connections between ethnic studies and public health while empowering other first-generation students like herself to find their voices.
