Amy Chiang, PhD

Research Specialist

Amy Chiang, PhD, joined DGIM as a Research Specialist. She works with Division Chief, Dr. Eleanor Schwarz primarily in her work in women's health, health services research and provides research support for other DGIM faculty on a variety of projects as well. She has a PhD in political science from the University of Pittsburgh and a MA from New York University. She specializes in econometrics and a variety of statistical and quantitative research methods. Her research interests center around women's health, health equity, social determinants of health, and public policies aiming at identifying ways with evidence-based research and data analysis to better understand and meet the health needs for diverse and particularly vulnerable and marginalized populations
