Congratulations Dr. Joan-Addington-White: Master Clinician in the Department of Medicine

Congratulations! Dr. Addington-White has been named a Master Clinician in the Department of Medicine. The Council of Master Clinicians was established by our department to honor members of our faculty whose main professional focus is clinical care, and who provide such care with uncommon skill and grace. In essence, our Master Clinicians are “the doctor’s doctors.” This was an exceptionally competitive year with a record number of nominations.

 Her nomination packet was truly remarkable for an incredible breadth of clinical expertise, premier diagnostic excellence, outstanding clinical skills and interpersonal skills, and her incredible ability to teach and inspire trainees about the importance of the physical exam in clinical care.
