Welcome back to Grand Rounds for the 2022-23 academic year. We will kick off this year with three faculty members who are also leaders outside of UCSF. Peggy Bui, product manager at Google Health, is examining the ways that artificial intelligence (AI) can help non-specialist clinicians diagnose skin conditions. Saptarsi Haldar, vice president of research at Amgen, will discuss the drug discovery process and career development opportunities at a large biotechnology company. Carmen Peralta, chief medical officer at Cricket Health, will talk about health equity and delivering value in health care. Come hear from all three about the work they are doing and their career journeys at and beyond UCSF.
